{"id":7639,"date":"2024-10-14T14:42:56","date_gmt":"2024-10-14T13:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edpcp.ipcms.fr\/?p=7639"},"modified":"2024-10-14T15:45:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-14T14:45:20","slug":"new-template-latex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edpcp.ipcms.fr\/?p=7639&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"NEW &#8211; Proposition of template in Latex format for the ED182 thesis manuscript"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The necessary elements are included in <a href=\"https:\/\/seafile.unistra.fr\/d\/f868d50349224d7a9f8a\/\"><strong>PhDThesisED182Template.zip<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a document class called <strong>PhDThesisED182.cls<\/strong>, based on the <strong>book<\/strong> class, containing some minimal number of packages and commands<\/li>\n<li>the official ED182 front cover and back cover are directly implemented in .<strong>tex<\/strong> format<\/li>\n<li>an example of main file (<strong>main.tex<\/strong>) creating a document (of class <strong>PhDThesisED182<\/strong>) with an example of architecture (front cover, abstract, table of contents, introduction, a few chapters, conclusions, appendices, bibliography, back cover)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An example of usage is available via this <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.overleaf.com\/read\/dcpwdcydmrhf#02e4f1\">Overleaf link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>_____________________<\/p>\n<p>Many comments are already available inside the files, but here are some spar remarks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the content of the .<strong>zip<\/strong> file can be imported locally (e.g. TexMaker) or on Overleaf<\/li>\n<li>the user&rsquo;s name and firstname, along with the thesis title are indicated lines 17 to 20 in <strong>PhDThesisED182.cls<\/strong>, which automatically generates the front and back covers according to these pieces of information<\/li>\n<li>new commands can of course be added, the user is free to implement them either directly in the <strong>PhDThesisED182.cls<\/strong> file or to create a new <strong>commands.tex<\/strong> file that shall be included in the preamble of <strong>main.tex<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>the language (french by default) can be modified line 26 in <strong>PhDThesisED182.cls<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>_____________________<\/p>\n<p>Class options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>showNotes allows to display (resp. to hide) the notes environments if the option is enabled (resp. disabled).
